News Release

Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan – April 17, 2017 – Pubcen Inc. (CEO & Co-Founder: Takao Sato) has raised 100 million yen in funds during its seed round thanks to a third-party allocation from the Gungin Business Support Investment Limited-Liability Association (commonly known as the the Gungin Business Support Fund). The association was formed from collaboration between The Gunma Bank, Ltd. (President: Kazuo Saito) and The Gungin Leasing Co., Ltd. (President: Masayuki Murota).

Pubcen continues to develop its central cloud service. People all throughout the world perpetually create digital content for their online lives via SNS and cloud services. Pubcen’s service gathers the digital content of our online lives (photos, articles, etc.) into one place for collection, editing, and creating additional value, preventing the disarray of content and our lives as a result.
In February 2017, Pubcen secured a patent for its service’s core curation engine, the “Life Weaving Technology” (patent no. 6083546; in the application process for American patent).
As a result of this fundraising, Pubcen is furthering its product development, and aims to begin service in both English and Japanese starting from the summer.

■ About Pubcen’s Cloud Service
Pubcen provides a life log service, which automatically curates all your invaluable digital content (articles posted on SNS, photos or event schedules saved on cloud services, etc.) in one place for instant and easy organization.

In recent years, multiple online services have allowed for efficient schedule management, frequent communication, and rapid information sharing. However, a range of issues have emerged in parallel with these benefits, including the inability to organize and manage mass uploads of photographs, the loss of posts that can no longer be located, as well as a lack of time to review past memories and add new value to them. Pubcen addresses all these issues by providing an irreplaceable platform for our digital lives.

When you connect Pubcen to your SNS and cloud services, it automatically curates all your scattered data into one place, organizing it according to time, location, and tags. Moreover, you can review and edit your past data, then publish it to other SNS and cloud services.

As a result, you can do everything from cataloging your daily life, to ranking the year’s top ten news stories, curating years worth of photos from an ongoing annual event, aligning photos to your schedule for a business trip report, or even compiling your life’s history. Simply put, you can create a life log to catalogue both your personal and business endeavors.
