Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, Japan – April 17, 2017 – Today Pubcen Inc. (CEO & Co-Founder: Takao Sato) launched its flagship cloud service, “Pubcen.” People throughout the world perpetually create digital content for their online lives via SNS and cloud services. Pubcen gathers the digital content of our online lives (photos, articles, etc.) all in one place, and further allows us to edit and even add new value to it, preventing the disarray of content and our lives as a result.

In recent years, multiple online services have allowed for efficient schedule management, frequent communication, and rapid information sharing. However, a range of issues have emerged in parallel with these benefits, including the inability to organize and manage mass uploads of photographs, the loss of posts that can no longer be located, as well as a lack of time to review past memories and add new value to them. Pubcen addresses all these issues by providing an irreplaceable platform for our digital lives.

When you connect Pubcen to your SNS and cloud services, it automatically curates all your scattered data into one place, organizing it according to time, location, and tags. Moreover, you can review and edit your past data, then republish it to your connected SNS and cloud services.
As a result, you can do just about anything with your digital life, be it cataloging your daily life, ranking the year’s top ten news stories, curating your childhood years from the first day of elementary school to graduation, aligning photos to your schedule for a business trip report, or even compiling your life’s history. Simply put, you can create a life log to catalog both your personal and business endeavors.

Pubcen Ver. 1.0, released today, is able to connect to 2 SNS services, facebook and Google Calendar / Google Photos.
The global surcharges for the service are 5 USD per month, or 50 USD per year for a yearly subscription paid in advance. Pubcen aims to garner a userbase of 60,000 users, 5,000 of which are to be users of the paid service.
Users can use all functions of Pubcen free of charge for the first 30 days after initial registration.

Pubcen Ver. 1.0 is being promoted primarily toward users between 30 and 60 years of age who use smartphones, digital cameras, and PCs to record family events or personal hobbies, and also to those who wish to use SNS to share both their personal and work lives with the world.
The Pubcen service is being sold as a Web application. However, all functions have been optimized for use on smartphones and tablets to provide the best possible user experience and interface. Pubcen plans to release both iOS and Android applications in the coming year.

On September 18th, 2017, Pubcen opened a demo at TechCrunch Disrupt SF 2017, and the startup has another demo booth set up at today’s TechCrunch Tokyo 2017. Feel free to come by to learn more about the service.
Pubcen will also be participating in the startup event Slush, held in Helsinki, Finland on November 30 and December 1, followed by Disrupt Berlin in Germany on December 4 and 5.
The Company is sponsored by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and will showcase its service as part of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) booth at these events. The Company wants users from around the world to make use of its groundbreaking digital lifelog platform.

The project aims to encourage growth in domestic venture companies with promising technologies and ideas by sending them to places of innovation around the world, thus giving them a foothold in the global market.

The European Dispatch Course that Pubcen applied for allows us to set up a booth within the Japan Pavilion sponsored by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) at two venues: the global startup event Slush in Finland (11/30-12/1) and Disrupt Berlin in Germany (12/4-12/5).

Along with the 7 other companies that were selected for this course, we will be taking our first step to branching out into the European market by introducing the event attendees to Pubcen’s life log service.

Pubcen had its own booth on Startup Alley at the tech startup event Disrupt SF 2017.

We had many interested visitors come to hear about our “hamburger” function. One of the major features of our service, it takes the calendar information and photos you have saved in the cloud and automatically organizes them into discrete events, with your photos (the patty) couched between start and end points (the buns) on the timeline of your life.
